Luna Heartfilia-Dragneel (ルナ・ドラグニル Runa Doraguniru) is a tyro of the Fairy Tail Guild and works at the healery. She is the little sister of Nashi Dragneel and twins Igneel and Luke Dragneel and last child of Lucy Heartfilia and Natsu Dragneel. Her power-set is relatively unknown, but she has a deep connection to life all around her.
Appearance
Luna is a petite girl (161.5cm) with long, golden hair like her mother Lucy. She keeps her hair down with part of it pulled into a ponytail with a ribbon-bow to hold it in place. She has short bangs and one long lock of hair on either side. She has brown eyes. Her Fairy Tail mark is pure white and on her right hand.
Luna typically wears a high-waisted skirt with a tucked-in shirt of a favorite character from Poko, long socks, and brown leather shoes. She wears the bracelet of the Sea King Shenlong. However, she changes her outfits and has special tyro robes when she's working.
Personality
Luna is a kind spirit who is compassionate and caring for every being she meets, known for always introducing herself due to her etiquette training. She's often friends with people of varying personalities, and she cites Ena Fernandes and Silver Fullbuster as her best friends. However, her compassion and naivete result in others infantilizing her, which she often hides her sadness in. She struggles with her self-worth, depression, and anxiety, but she can be temperamental when pushed to a limit.
Luna is known to be food-motivative, study-avoidant, and enjoys traditional homemaking tasks, like cooking. She's honest to a fault and uses her cuteness in comedic ways, from trying to sway her papa into letting her off the hook or redirecting Igneel's energy. But in her honesty, it plays a role in her romantic dynamic with Gale Redfox, as she's relatively unbothered by intimacy with him and shows comfortability in it. In this comfortability with intimacy, she also shows platonic intimacy with her friends and has little qualms with Igneel's sister complex towards her. Even Penelope Strauss using her for stress relief by suddenly changing her into mature cosplays rarely phases Luna.
She has an obsessive love for her stuffed animals, especially anything themed to Poko, and longs to travel the world.
History
When Luna was born, her existence triggered something with Igneel to calm him down. She grew up as a happy-go-lucky baby and infant, and, on several occassions, was watched by Porlyusica, calling her "Grammy Grandeeney" until Porlyusica gently stopped her. She was a student at Evergreen's etiquette courses for children, but, due to her intellucual disabilities, she had trouble in her courses and bonding with her classmates. It's alluded her etiquette courses are how she and Elvin met as children, though she does not remember.
At some point, Luna had met Icarus. During this time, it's hinted Luna also found a seed of the Gaia Tree within Magnolia Forest and planted it in the healery with Porlyusica's assistance. However, during the Solar Calamity, Luna's fear of the power both her brothers possssed caused her to no longer meet with Icarus and become fearful of her brothers to the point of tears and screaming if she saw them. However, she was diagnosed with selective amnesia, causing her to no longer remember the trauma of that day and return to her normal self.
Luna befriended many in the second generation during her childhood.
For reasons unknown, Luna was kept within Magnolia. As such, she learned to be a child minder, attaining multiple certifications in ambulatory & emergency services, mental health assistance, tea artisery, basic children's education, and others. She also had a fascination for photography. However, due to her self-worth issues, she became depressed due to her her lack of magic and inability to leave Magnolia. She threw away all her photography equipment and albums, though, unbeknownst to her, her family fished all of it out of the bins and kept it all safe for her.
Magic and Abilities
Unnamed Ability: Luna's abilities remain unknown in the type, but she has displayed vague abilities:
- Portal: Luna can make portals.
- Light: Luna can create a starry light to guide her.
- Wish Fullfiment: If Luna wishes for something with her whole heart, it comes true.

Sea King Bracelet: Shenlong gifted Luna a bracelet made of his scales that contains a portion of his power and Authority.

- Luna’s birthday falls on the winter solstice and she was born under a total solar eclipse.
- Luna’s name is derived from the popular ship name of Natsu and Lucy “LuNa” as well as the embodiment of the moon, the Roman Goddess Luna.
- Luna’s godmother is the queen of Fiore who moved the Yuletide Ball to December 22nd rather than December 21st as she wanted to be in Magnolia for Luna’s birthdays.
- Luna bares the most resemblance to the Heartfilia Clan.
